Mystery South Australia Malbec 2021 (Australia)

  • Sweet oak
  • Red cherries & plum
  • Subtle spice & pepper
  • Medium soft tannins

"This is fruit forward and beautifully lifted on the nose with dark berry, hazelnut, smoky bacon and green olive characters, leading to a nicely polished palate that's succulent and fleshy. Generous and attractively styled. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2022

Red cherries, plums and blueberries, with hints of spice and white pepper. Malbec is Australia’s juicy, fruit-forward style. The sweet vanilla oak that is used is complimentary to the fruitforward style, but it’s not dominant. Medium bodied & medium soft tannin.

Food Pairing: Soft, sweet fruit profile and medium tannin structure makes the Malbec a great pair to softer meats and those with delicious, sweeter marinates.
